This style of drill does not have the module inside according to Milwaukee tech support. Also it does not come with directions on how to wire in the new switch since it's not exactly like the original. There is a video on youtube that is helpful but it won't help with the older drill. Best to contact Milwaukee tech support to confirm before buying. They will need the catalog number and serial number
