Although the regulator looked very much the same it was a SOB to get pushed in place far enough to be able to get the holding clip passed it and in place. I think the regulator may have been a thousands or two bigger. I got it in there but believe me it was no easy task and I think that most people would have given up on the task and just used there old regulator. I believe this pump and regulator is a better higher quality replacement........
