It still has a leather smell to it too. I don't think it was ever used, so I'm thinking it's actually brand new. I feel like I got a steal of a deal. Can't wait to load it full of my things! When I contacted the buyer to get a list of the missing items, they promptly provided a list which I was able to find replacements easily. The machines needs some TLC to get back into fighting shape. I wish I had asked about needles (my fault not the seller) because they did need to be replaced.
