    Soundcard arrived today and after testing it was found to be defective ! 8-bit sound works but 16-bit doesn't. Adlib part doesn't work either even after running aweutil to enable it. The AWE part doesnt work because no DRAM is found on the card even though there is a 512Kb chip on it.

    There is no plug-able RAM on the board, how it should be but not? The card was in working condition, sure it was not tested all round all functions, just basic. And it was working, and you proved that. And who can say that buyer do all correctly. And at last in the description it is said that card is sold AS IS - because one leaked condenser at any time can change the picture. The feedback is unfair and incorrect.
