Glad I did because I have an Iphone 12 pro max so if there was any worry about tipping in the upright position, this larger phone would find it! I charge the phone on my night stand with this charger in the upright position and it supports the phone just fine. It's perfectly stable and doesn't seem top heavy at all. Charger also works fine in the flat position.
