I planned on separating the bigger pieces with the more obvious gold from the smaller pieces and fines, then cooking and cold water shocking the latter, crushing and processing. I haven't done that refining yet, because Im having too much fun looking at the bigger pieces with a loop. For me this was a good value, it came in great condition, and we'll Im happy. Thanks!

I took time to watch Jasons videos and found out more about this ore. I saw a piece that looked like one in a video so I smashed it open and BOOM, gold right there. Honestly this is going to be a lot of work but its going to be fun extracting the gold from this stuff. Also gave me a military discount! Thank you!

I came into this from YouTube but with a different plan: 1) I wanted to try panning and 2) I wanted gold in its host rock for my collection. Much to my surprise in the process of classifying and panning the first three handfuls I have found both. There is plenty left to go through. I still want to mill it & pan it again but I got exactly what I came for with plenty of material left to go. Thanks a lot! Be safe out there.

My only criticism is that the box was not tape shut and it arrived open with half of the brown paper used to stuff the box sticking out of the box. It is an absolute miracle that the stone was still inside in a tiny box.
