- 9***6 (17)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseWhen I received this item, I realized that it was a typical Proto 2000 engine, ie the gears were cracked. Luckily, I had some new axels on hand and proceeded to replace them. Also had to replace the couplers, which were probably damaged in shipping. The yellow paint on the railings was peeled off on both sides of the engine. I used a yellow marker to repaint them. Now it runs well, and looks a lot better! Knowing how to deal with these engines in the past made it easy to fix the issues.
