Imagine what D-Day would have been like if the troops headed to shore were riding in LCACs? Okay, it would have still been a nightmare, but it’s amazing how far technology has evolved since the days of Higgins boats and LCSs. In fact, I like them so much I bought 3 of them. The seller had a good description, it was priced & discounted, and they carefully packed it for shipping. Now I just need to kit-bash a CWIS and SeaRAM on it for protection.
