Reviews
I love books that not only offer great patterns, but inspire each individual's creative soul. Some people need encouragement that, yes, they do each have their own creative soul and that is what Making Quilts with Kathy Doughty of Material Obsession does so well. Quilters will learn to push the limits of color and print combination with a flair from "down under." Many of the quilts are a visual cacophony with surprisingly pleasing results. Then there is the strikingly simpler "Wagga" on page 123. A wonderful opportunity to let a few fabrics (perhaps even recycled fabric) humbly harmonize together., I love books that not only offer great patterns, but inspire each individual's creative soul.
