I own a genuine Canon and compared the two: the genuine one weighs 34g but the new one only 28g; the printed letters also do not look right, even showing “Sony Corp” in two places. Outside packaging was the first hint as it looked cheap. I wrote to the seller but did not receive a reply. Very disappointed about this eBay transaction.
