Amateur sabermetricians can delve into 70 statistical categories for over 18,000 players dating back to 1901 and use the new player development engine to analyze the future of potential draft picks.<br><br>Baseball Mogul 2008 also deals with the business side of baseball, putting players in the position of general manager and letting them deal with salaries, attendance, and revenues. The game features a new financial model that automatically adjusts revenue and salaries to the correct level for each era, so gamers can put Alex Rodriguez on their 1902 Brooklyn Superbas team without paying him his $25 million 2007 salary.
