Organically grown, the flowers themselves, are not crushed up or mistreated in any way. The flavour is full, but subtle, and goes very well with the Rose Hip Tea, I bought at the same time. It’s just delicious, and doesn’t have that overdone, heavy flavour teabags can have. I’ve never had the shells uncrushed, before , and it made a subtle difference to the flavour. The sharpness or bitterness, that can usually be tasted in the teabags, wasn’t there.
