You need to reread the comment I left. I said the top should have been glued shut that shows it was a new product instead the top was not glued, it had those little round adhesive pieces that you or “someone else” used to secure the top as I showed in the photos. This item was opened.

That's fine. I get it now. Even though you won't care, we really did not open it. I did pull up the photos I posted and the top has a tear. I should have figured out that it was messed with before my son purchased it. We had a green controller, also, but his feedback was good so the boxed must not have had the same appearance as the brown controller. This is a good reminder for future "new" items that are sold in a store. Please let me know if there are issues with the controller itself.
