The new full-length 'You Should Know Better By Now' from Maryland pop-rock band Hotspur picks up where their 2006 release 'Beta' left off, with soaring hooks, playful keyboard lines and boundless dance-floor energy--but with an added intensity, cohesiveness and maturity, while still creating experience centered around the idea of rock music being a fun time. Produced by Bryan Russell (Envy on the Coast, Straylight Run) and mixed by Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Senses Fail), 'YSKBBN' showcases Hotspur doing what they do best; dramatic and heartfelt melodies over broad soundscapes with crunchy pop-songwriting cores. Leading off the album is the single 'Chandelier,' a moody hook-laden track with intricate piano work and clever lyrics.
