Pants seemed of very high quality, made of very fine wool. But the fit was way off. Not the advertized 40 inch waste; more like a size 36. Even worse, the fit below the waste and above the knees was like a leotard. Even my skinny adult sun (32 or 33 inch waste) decided the fit was too tight below the waste to justify having the waste altered for him. Might not be seller's fault. Might just be the cut of Samuelson brand pants. That's why this is a neutral (rather than negative) rating.
