I HAD A PROBLEM TRYING TO SECURE THE HT LEAD INTO THE COIL HOUSING. WHEN THE SCREW SUPPLIED WAS TIGHTENED FULLY, THERE WAS 4 mm OF MOVEMENT ON THE LEAD. TO OVERCOME THIS, I HAD TO MAKE A SPACER TO FIT BETWEEN THE SCREW AND THE LEAD CONTACT. MAYBE THE COIL HOUSING NEEDED A DEEPER THREAD, OR A DIFFERENT TYPE OF SCREW IS REQUIRED. AFTER DOING THIS, THE COIL WORKED PERFECTLY

Looking at the item it looks alright. But on fitting discover acorn is short by 5m or coil outlet is too long, return and get refund no mention of sending replacement. By this time I was getting short on a dead line. So if anybody else has this problem my photograph will show you what I did by adding a blob of solder to the HT cable and a very happy bride. Once l have time l will definitely find a longer acorn. What l am trying to say is that the easy option was return and end of story.
