In future though, when shipping painted canvas, it's best not to send it rolled up in a tube shipper. It can cause damage to the painting , like the flaking off of paint, lines in the canvas, and cracking the finish, especially if old. I got lucky and it only had some minimal lines in the canvas which will probably relax with time and stretching it. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase and can't wait to restore and frame it :)
