It looked new upon opening the package but when I turned it on, it said “change batteries” which shouldn’t come on if it had new, unused ones. I took out the batteries and discovered they were corroded. So I’m very disappointed with the quality of the purchase. I could have just bought a brand new one from Home Depot for $20 more.
