This item (transmission only) was not new - it was rebuilt and someone did a poor job. The shaft was frozen, could not move it initially. Was able to finally move it. Also, the shaft of the transmission was rusty. The ends of the shaft were burred and the keyways had rough edges. This prevented the thrust washers from being put on. Did some grinding with my dremel tool to smooth the shaft ends but it was still hard to get the thrust washers on.
