At IconLab here, tool of this nature are disassemled, thuroughly cleaned and reassembled with high quality lubricants before ever being (invenitably destroyed) put to use. I'm not saying this had anything to do with (totally did) it's notable smooth operation, none the less impressive tollerances, 2mm L to R or so, nice paint... opinions are it's a good value for the price.
