I had a bit of a scare though with the memory stick but am happy to report it works. I took the old 4gb stick out of my working laptop and replaced it with this 8gb but when I turned it on no screen, it was dead. WTH? Knowing bad memory can cause that I put the old one back in and the screen worked again but the whole booting and shutdown was weird. Tried this 8gb again and it worked perfectly. Whey!
