Sharpness and clarity are achieved with the continuous autofocus from infinity to 6.4 inches. Fine details are captured at any distance by this excellent close-up lens. The lightweight lens has a rounded 7-blade diaphragm that boosts the item's performance and enhances the end results. The innovative close-range correction system increases the focal range and ensures superior image quality at close distances. Using ultrasonic vibrations, the Silent Wave Motor focuses the lens giving a precise autofocus operation. Providing 1x magnification, it works well in low-light conditions to provide crisp, bright pictures for your digital SLR. You will notice that these micro lenses are particularly lightweight at just over 0.5 pounds. When attached to a digital camera of any kind, it hardly adds any weight. It is very portable and easy to take with you wherever you go as it is small enough to carry around in a purse or similar bag.
