In fact the fitting is not ID, which indicates Inside Diameter, which is 5 15/16” This fitting is exactly 6” in diameter which makes it useless as a pipe adaptor or coupling, despite apparent excellent quality and finish. The inside diameter either needs to be 6 1/16” (OD) or 5 15/16” (ID). Upon receipt of the item I was able to measure it. No go. I must return this fitting please.
