No lip to hold the rubber dust boot. but then recommends it at the END of the install instructions... Also includes the garbage stock leather seal that fails almost immediately instead of including the timken updated version that is probably the same price... Save yourself alot of headaches and lost time and just get the $130 kit from bobs or one of the other Buick parts guys... what a joke.

Your correct, there is no lip. That is the way Buick made it. There is no reproduction available from anyone that contains a torque ball with a lip. The leather seal is quality made and if installed correctly, does not fail. Several hundred of these kits have been sold with success. I would strongly suggest that if you do not have the mechanical ability to do this work, please acquire someone that can
