The WD2002FYPS Western Digital RE4-GP hard drive is an excellent way to improve the performance of your desktop computer and increase how much the drive stores. With 7200 RPMs, a 64MB cache, 300MBps data transfer rate, and 2TB of storage space, the WD2002FYPS hard drive is a good option for personal users or small businesses that need fast drives to complete jobs more efficiently. It’s also an option to consider if you need more than the 500MB to 1TB of storage that standard drives come with, but less than the 4 to 6TB larger companies often require. This Western Digital RE4-GP hard disk uses power-conserving technology with active power management. It uses IntelliPower, IntelliPark, and InteilliSeek to balance transfer rates, spin speed, buffer speeds, and the 64MB cache to balance power and performance. The IntelliPark software reduces power consumption to levels lower than any previous WD RE-GP drive by turning off the read/write channel when it’s not in use. This part of the hard disk converts data from analog to digital and transfers the information between the drive and the motherboard through the SATA interface. Increases in buffer speeds and a large cache help the HDD hold data for quick access and as a reserve area during large transfers. It also uses some of the 64MB to store commands and firmware memory. The internal Western Digital RE4-GP hard drive with a 3.5-inch form factor fits into the HDD slot for any desktop computer. Use the SATA III with a 3Gb/s interface to connect the WD2002FYPS to the motherboard. Insert the plug into the first slot when replacing it or use the next available space when installing an additional drive. Follow this step the same way with an HDD or an SSD. Both types of drives, moving and motionless, work together using separate SATA interfaces. Use the 2TB WD2002FYPS HDD to backup all the data on your company’s network onto one, secure disk. The StableTrac locks the Western Digital’s motor shaft at both ends to reduce the spinning platters’ vibration and increase their stability to improve the read/write operations without increasing its power consumption. Another feature of this Western Digital drive is that it reduces vibration with the Enhanced RAFF technology that monitors and corrects any problems with linear and revolving vibration in real-time. In return, this also improves performance and provides users with a quieter computer. An easy way to see how much data 2TB driver hold is to compare file sizes to different types of digital media, which takes a more significant amount of space than plain text, word documents, and PDFs. This stores 33,320 hours of musical recordings, 640,000 images on the highest camera resolution, 2,000 hours of digital video, and 500, 2-hour, high-definition, DVD-quality movies.
