External shipping box was undamaged and the outside of the sealed internal original manufacturer box was undamaged BUT item had a crack in the thin wood outer shell, the narrow base/neck of the white orb chair was cracked, and the string of lights that hangs across the front had let go. These issues appear to originate with the manufacturer and lack of shipping protection inside the manufacturer's box.
