It was described as 11oz 8 yard worsted wool black watch red over-checked kilt. Actually 16oz, 6 yard, tweed, patriot moorland tartan kilt. Length verified via Taylor’s measuring tape but I also looked under the back lining and saw no scalloped pleats. Pictures below IDs the fabric. Still a good kilt and a good price/value just very bad identification/description

In actuallity, It was a 16 oz, 6 yard, Cornish Hunting Modern tartan kilt. I measured the yardage wit tailors tape and I identified the tartan on USA Kilts Website after a Google Lense search. you can also tell it wasnt an 8 Yard Kilt by examining the underside of the back of the kilt. the lining was not sewn down and you can see the lack of Scalloping. Still good kilt.
