Nothing was damaged but the fragile plastic model kit was wrapped in bubble wrap with a wide strip of packing tape, which made extricating the kit without damaging it unnecessarily difficult. Inside the carton were a few hunks of styrofoam to somewhat cushion the contents; overall the packing was disappointing.
