The damage occurred because it was missing original packing and cardboard structures that keep it secure within the outer box being a heavy cast iron pump. The seller was very difficult to work with and I wouldn't recommend buying from this seller. I had to straighten the bent stainless steel handle and float guard, plus order a switch assembly at my expense.Reply from: hoodsnbootsco- Feedback replied by seller hoodsnbootsco.- Feedback replied by seller hoodsnbootsco.Four times I asked you to provide proof of damage which I could send to Fedex to claim loss, every time you responded with nothing but asking for money and arguing even though I already accepted your offer which was much lower than asking price.
