The packaging was easy to open, and a low-profile bracket is provided. If you want to use it outside of a server environment, you'll need to buy 8654 8i to U.2 or similar and some breakout boards if you want to use it for off-the-shelf M.2 NVMe SSDs. I tried to use an 8654 8i pass-through to those cheap dual M.2 M-Key breakout boards, but only one NVMe would show up at a time. Pays to do your research, I guess.

Turns out I needed a standard nvme cable because the broadcom cables I had use different signaling. He sells the cable I needed and I endedup ordering it. Problem solved. Great seller. Saved in my favorites!

Not a trace of dust on it and it was well packaged for delivery. Seller took the time to refund me a partial shipping amount as I also ordered cables. Cables seem to be of good quality as well. Looking forward to expanding my home server!
