The Rockford Fosgate R2D4-12 is a strong and powerful 4-Ohm speaker that delivers strong bass with an ideal balance with treble. This Rockford Fosgate 12-inch car speaker features a mica-injected polypropylene cone that works with a high-density polyfoam surround to deliver rich sound and deep notes. Moreover, this 4-Ohm speaker produces a consistent, reliable performance due to its tinsel leads that carry the signal to the voice coils directly into the cone. Additional features included in this Rockford Fosgate 12-inch car speaker are an anodized aluminum coil former and spider venting to keep the subwoofer cool, a StampCast steel basket for rigidity, spring post terminals to accommodate speaker wire with up to 12 gauges, and a sealed enclosure with optimal internal volume. The Rockford Fosgate R2D4-12 is equipped with dual 4-Ohm voice coils, 250-watts of RMS power, 500 watts of maximum power, a frequency response range from 43 Hz to 250 Hz, and sensitivity of 89 dB. The dimensions of this Rockford Fosgate 12-inch car speaker include a port diameter of 4 inches (10.16 cm), port length of 9.3 inches (23.69 cm), top mounting depth of 5.25 inches (13.36 cm), and cut-out diameter of 11.13 inches (28.27 cm).
