Its a matter of dropping in the console and putting the cover back on. I had it finished in under 5 minutes. The screen brightness level goes up to 8, but it is darker than other light kits out there, as seen in the photo I've attached. It's still bright enough to play your games on. For a combination of a new cover & buttons & a lighted display, you get your money's worth.
