    They fit, but are far from generous. I'm actually a 16 and get a larger size for comfort but the elastic certainly isn't an 18 waist, so be aware. The fabric itself looks nice, but it's much heavier than cotton corduroy. I'm keeping them as the colours are exactly what I wanted, but I had planned to buy other colours, but have decided against any more and will see how they wash. Seller posted quickly.
