The leather spine is new. The binding is tight. The contents are complete with no tears. The title page has an old repair of a closed tear at the gutter margin, small stain at top margin and light spotting. A few other scattered pages have light to moderate spotting. Most pages are clean with some age tonning. The Morghen engraving of Boccaccio is clean but has several stains at the top margin and browning at the fore and bottom margins – well away fron the plate area.”
