I bought a Russel Hobs Bread maker which arrived on 27th April, it was broken in 2 places so was unusable. I contact the seller, who seemed to work with me for a refund, however, he said it has been issued to ebay and it's up to them when I receive it. I am yet to receive the refund. I had to supply phots to him, and I still have the broken one sitting in my home, as he wanted me to keep it while he waited for his refund from the courier in case they want to inspect it. can ebay help in this

This is not true and 100% inaccurate. I issued the refund immediately after I had recived pictures of the damage, which is a requirement as proof of damage in transit as the item had clearly been damaged in transit or on receipt. I have email evidence and eBay notifications stating that I have provided a full refund to the buyer through ebay.
