The color is definitely not teal. It is blue. Pictured here next to my teal that I wanted it to match. The lid is different: It's definitely seems to be for a different piece. The packaging was extremely bad; I am very surprised it didn't come in pieces. Overall, I am very disappointed and I would return it if it was an option.
