Stainless steel tends to be softer than other steel screws and the Philips screw head slots are relatively shallow due to their low profile - they can round out if you do not apply firm and straight pressure to the driver bit. In soft cedar this was not a big issue, but good driver technique may be more important in harder wood. Would buy again.
