    I received my nutcracker today. I immediately installed it on a 2x6 board that I could use on a table top. I clamped it down with c-clamps and it works great! The only downside is that it's a little bit addicting. I found that I couldn't stop myself once I got going. 50 nuts down. Thousands to go! Its design is simple and extremely well made. I love the fact that it's an effective black walnut cracker at a reasonable price! Thanks for the quick turnaround.

    The nut cracker is just as described . But it does not work as good as described because a woman does not have enough strength to pull the handle to crack walnuts . I had to put a 15 inch extension in the handle . I also think that it has a dangerous aspect that they don’t explain . When the nut breaks sometimes it explodes and the nut pieces scatter . So far it hasn’t hit and eye but if it did it would put out an eye. I am putting a face shield around the body to keep from getting hurt .
