Polyester has a vague silky sheen & would definitely not cling to wearer. Unable to find the hexagon mesh lining/insulation used on my cycling jacket linings (both black & yellow), however Textile Station mesh net is good shade match. Double layer repair on a black gilet, hexagon holes, abraded through! Could also form internal pockets for cycling jackets, tacking through holes.

Have purchased better quality power mesh before that stretches the same amount in both directions and has better recovery.
