It had been glued together - Tod's are hand stiched, that is made by hand in Italy. The seller argued the point. I took them into the Tod's store in Chicago and the store clerk said they are not Tod's and I could not return this item to Tod's and that there are hundreds of websites that sell this knock-offs. They just copy the Tod's logo.
