It looks like you get both male & female plugs and you assume (I assumed) the wires shown are your own wires going into the back of the plugs . They're not, you have to read the description in small print very carefully, they were only the male plugs with their own wires already firmly and permanently attached to the inside of the plugs. Completely useless if you want to join 2 wires from both ends of the plugs together! I got refunded pretty quickly thankfully!
