Yes, it is called a bay leaf but it's Cinnamomum not a laurel. Looking forward to using it. The leaves in the packages looked fresh (for dry leaves) and smelled nice, a little different from bay laurel. The leaves were a mix of long/big and short/small leaves with maybe 5% of them folded or broken. Very happy with the quality and quantity, and the price! THANKS!
