Was going to use this to plumb longer hoses to my propane tank for my Generator, but alas, US Carburetor said do NOT use teflon tape - even the Propane type for connecting the brass propane plumbing hardware, I guess they're concerned that little bits of teflon getting into the combustion chamber and causing damage or getting stuck in the throat of the carburetor. I can use this with other propane related projects so I will be keeping it.
