Reviews
"The lore alone, not to mention the good food, makes Savoring the Seasons of the Northern Heartland worth having. It brings to life the intriguing culinary heritage of a part of the country so often and so lamentably overlooked."--Lynne Rosetto Kasper, author of The Splendid Table "Much more than just a collection of recipes."-- The Land "A book rich in its knowledge, coherence, and usefulness."-- New York Times Book Review "Offer updated recipes of the traditional foods of the Upper Midwest."-- Minneapolis Star Tribune "This book is like a cozy chat with Grandma, when Grandma is the best cook in the country. I guarantee you'll learn something new about the foods that made us who we are."--Jo Marshall, Villager

- t***t (305)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseAAAA++++ SELLER!!!! Book was shipped very quickly and item price was also good. My only complaint is the shipping packaging. This book came loosely placed in a plastic bag so I can't tell if the damage to the dust jacket happened in shipping or it was already in that condition. But, as I already stated, the overall price was good so I shouldn't really complain. Overall, I've had positive experience with hpb-ruby so I'd still definitely recommend buying from them.
 - e***i (159)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseGreat book for a great price. Shipped quickly, but only packed in a poly bag, so the book suffered some mild corner damage in shipping. Aside from that, the book matched the description of its condition and I’m happy overall. Great seller!
