Impossible to tell if this was the result of poor manmufacture or mishandling by the delivery services; after all, incandescent lights are a fragile product. So, on the grounds of fairness, I will overlook this initial disappointment. I certainly can't agree that 70w=100w however. The light output was a relatively dim yellowish colour & nowhere near a typical 100w bulb.
