Come 2025, you appreciate simplicity. Play, stop, ffwd, rwnd all have a tight, reassuringly quick mechanism. The on board speaker is useful if you're listening to the cricket, but the ability to power by USB feels oddly futuristic on an anachronistic device. through some HD-25 MK2 headphones, sounds more than good enough.
