William has been married to his wife Patricia Lumry since 1970. They live in Corpus Christi, Texas. William is licensed as a minister through his home church Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship and serves under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Donald G. Leavell. At the Fellowship William serves as a Prayer Minister. In 2000 William and Pat co-founded Shammah Prayer Ministries International, Inc. (SPMI) and William serves as its President and CEO. The purpose of SPMI is advancing the kingdom, strengthening the church, and serving the Body. This ministry is carried out primarily through identifying, teaching, training, empowering, and mobilizing intercessors. The Annual National Day of Prayer (NDP) in South Texas is a major part of the work of SPMI. William has served as the NDP South Texas Regional Coordinator since 1991. The work of SPMI also includes support to missionaries Ghana, West Africa, Venezuela, Haiti, Turkey, and the USA. William leads and facilitates prayer gatherings and retreats for Pastors and Intercessors in the South Texas region and beyond. He is available for ministry to your church or group.
