The shipping box was form fitted for the drive WITH it placed in an ESD bag (some people don’t do that). Excellent packaging! The model of the drive was not overwritten from Seagate, so I found out it to be a an Exos X16 drive! I have a brand new X18 and the MDD drive performs and behaves exactly as the X18. GREAT value, and the drive was undamaged. I would DEFINITELY buy again!
