The problem is that they were a size 40 as indicated, but along the way someone washed and dried them on high...shrinking the waist. (I have other pants size 40 and they are fine. These are now approx 38.) Cotton shrinks. Possibly a warning about size should have been listed and if it was I didn't see it. This is nothing against the seller, nothing negative, just an observation and a suggestion.
