About this product

Product Information

An accessible guide to our climate crisis. I greatly look forward to reading it , Sir David Attenborough. Carbon Choices will help you to understand climate change and nature loss and provides common-sense solutions before COP26, the global climate conference to be held in Glasgow. I am a Scottish geographer, ex-accountant and now work as an Energy and Water Specialist. I am not a scientist or academic, but I am backed by many academics, businesses and climate change experts. Section 1 introduces carbon dioxide, climate change and the destruction of nature. It summarises the impacts of climate change and how we have created an environmental crisis. Section 2 introduces ten building blocks that are needed to lay the foundations to enable us to make better choices for the planet. Section 3 introduces five principles to guide individual consumers, businesses and governments. I apply these principles to our everyday lives - our diets, homes, travel, shopping and leisure. By doing so we can rewild nature, improve our society, be healthier, happier and lead more fulfilled lives. The future can be better. The book concludes with a green action plan and a vegan recipe. A summary and testimonials are available at www.carbonchoices.uk. I am donating one third of profits to rewilding projects. REVIEWS A must read . Philip Rodney, The Times brilliantly written, clear, concise and balanced .
